The Hatfield 2030+ project has been shortlisted in the 2019 Planning Awards.
The award for partnership working recognises initiatives, projects or plans that demonstrate how drawing on individuals and teams from different organisations, backgrounds and disciplines has enabled improvement to the physical or environmental quality of a place, or the economic or social well-being of a community.
The partnership has been instrumental in attracting funding to deliver plans for the wider regeneration of Hatfield, with the £1.2m project to transform White Lion Square now underway.
Hatfield 2030+ is shortlisted alongside Barton Park, Oxford, Develop Croydon and the Hounslow Schools Partnership Projects.
The winners will be announced in June at a ceremony in London.
